AUGUST 10, 2008

My new video for Kate Maki's 'We Are Gone' is now online. This stripped down and stripped back video was shot by Lee Towndrow up in Sudbury, Ontario. The audio is, as you can in all probability tell, live to tape. Hope you like it. The song is from Kate's album, On High, out on Ow Om Records.

JULY 30, 2008

I've just finished production on a new music video for Kate Maki. It's a different sort of video, both in style and format, featuring a live performance from Kate. It's for her song "We are Gone" and was shot up in Sudbury, Ontario with Lee Towndrow on the camera. I should have it up on the site in the next few days or so hopefully.

Next up is a video for Vancouver band, 16mm, which will be shooting toward the end of August, as well as some TV spots with Toronto poet, Spencer Butt.

I'm really very happy to announce that I'm now being represented by Vision for music videos in Canada. I'm on a roster with some really great directors, and really glad to be there. Party time.

Scott has just finished shooting a new video for The Wooden Sky. The song is When Lost at Sea and the video was photographed by Kevin Wong and styled by Corrina Allen. Except it to appear sometime in early February. The above production still was taken by Jess Baumung.

The good folks at Shots Ring Out have posted this little photographic preview of the upcoming Fake Empire video. Thanks go to those guys, once again.

JANUARY 17, 2008

Scott's director cut of Hayden's Where and When is now online up in the videos section. The video was shot in Brussels, Belgium and stars Hayden and Mathilde Pagnier. It was photographed by Michael LeBlanc, produced by Mike Smith and edited by Matt Hannam.

We know it's taken absolutely forever, and it's still not ready yet due to many delays, but The National's video for Fake Empire will finally be completed before the end of the month. We promise...or Scott will eat his shoe.

More news coming soon as Scott gets ready to shoot The Wooden Sky's When Lost at Sea very shortly.

JANUARY 10, 2008

Happy new year! Scott's video for Catherine MacLellan's Too Easy is now up on the site and on the airwaves and the massive, massive internet. The video was photographed by Kevin Wong, styled by Corrina Allen and edited by nobody.

In other news, look for The National's video for Fake Empire to be coming very soon. We know...it's way overdue. Also coming soon are new videos for The Wooden Sky and Kate Maki.

Also, Scott will be part of a group art show coming up toward the end of the month in Toronto at Fountain Contemporary Art Gallery (652 Queen St. West) opening on the 18th of January. The show is entirely comprised of work by people in the music industry and also includes Chris Mills, Julie Fader, James Mejia, Justin Peroff and others. Scott will be showing a small collection of three drawings on masonite in india ink, watercolour and oil crayon.

NOVEMBER 4, 2007

Scott just wrapped up shooting for Catherine MacLellan's 'Too Easy' for True North Records. It was shot along the Toronto waterfront and photographed by Kevin Wong. Look for it on the site by the end of month.

Post-production on The National's 'Fake Empire' is moving along and should be finished by the end of the month as well. Lots of new work coming soon, including a video for Hayden for his song 'Where and When' off his upcoming new album.
